Who we are

What the service does
DilloForte translates spoken conversations in real time: it listens, transcribes, translates and plays the translation back in a synthetic voice. It runs in your browser, with no app to install.
The most important limitation: machine translation can be wrong

DilloForte uses artificial intelligence. Speech recognition and translation can contain errors, especially in noisy places, with strong accents, technical terms, proper names, figures or addresses.
Do not rely on DilloForte alone where a mistake could have serious consequences: medical diagnosis or consent, legal acts, safety instructions, financial transactions, or any setting where a misunderstanding could cause harm. Those situations call for a qualified human interpreter.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or fitness of a translation for any particular purpose.
Account and access
To use the service beyond the free trial you need an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16, or the minimum age required in your country to give valid consent.
Credit, payments and refunds
The service is pay-as-you-go: you buy minutes, which are consumed as you speak. Prices are shown in the app and may change; changes do not apply to credit already purchased.
Payments are handled by Stripe. If you are a consumer in the European Union you have a 14-day right of withdrawal; however, by starting to use the minutes you purchased, you agree that the service begins immediately and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for the part already used.
Purchased credit does not expire, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Acceptable use
You may not use DilloForte to:
- record or translate conversations without the knowledge of the people involved, where the applicable law prohibits it;
- carry out unlawful activity, harassment, or content inciting hatred or violence;
- circumvent technical limits, resell the service, or deliberately overload the infrastructure;
- infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
A responsibility that stays with you
In many countries, recording a conversation or letting an automated system listen to it requires the consent of the people involved. DilloForte is a tool: making sure its use is lawful in your context is up to you.
Availability
We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted. The service also depends on third-party providers and on your connection. We may suspend it for maintenance or security reasons.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, opportunity or data arising from use of the service, nor for the consequences of an inaccurate translation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law — including wilful misconduct, gross negligence and personal injury — nor the rights the law grants to consumers.
Intellectual property
The software, brand and content of DilloForte remain ours. What you say remains yours: we do not use it to train models and, as explained in the privacy policy, we do not keep it.
Closing your account
You can stop using the service whenever you like and ask us to erase your data. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms or fraudulent use.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give you reasonable notice; continuing to use the service after the change means accepting it.
